What I’m doing now

This is a /now page—a periodic snapshot of current engineering priorities, homelab experiments, and offline pursuits.

Where I am

Based in San Francisco, California (PST / UTC-8), collaborating with distributed platform teams across North America, Europe, and APAC.

Engineering Focus

Multi-Region Edge Delivery: Refining declarative Terraform blueprints for globally replicated S3 Multi-Region Access Points (MRAP) behind CloudFront native SigV4A Origin Access Control (OAC).

Zero-Runtime Static Tooling: Building build-time Remark and Rehype compilers for inline SVG diagrams, zero-JS AST tooltips, and content-addressed Open Graph card pipelines.

In the Homelab

Running a quiet, low-power Proxmox VE cluster backed by NVMe ZFS mirrors passed through via PCIe HBA, segmented across isolated VLANs with automated off-site encrypted snapshots.

Hands-On & Offline

Architectural Photography

Exploring long-exposure twilight studies of suspension bridges, brutalist concrete geometry, and Pacific coastal fog.

Trail Running & Alpine Touring

Logging weekend elevation along the Marin Headlands and preparing gear for winter backcountry touring in the Sierra Nevada.

Reading & Studying

Revisiting foundational papers on consensus protocols, active-active replication latencies, and modern compiler bundlers.
